In 2013, this was us. Okay, not really us - but this is how we felt every time we watched the news and considered how on earth any of the problems could be solved, as we watched our beloved republic disintegrating before our very eyes.

Then we decided... to move. Just take a step and start moving.

In 2013, we sent over 100 emails to our neighbors to invite them to study correct principles of liberty - principles that we believed could change people's perceptions of the problem - focusing on the solutions that led to good government. We continued to study, and prepare, and breathlessly awaited the evening when all our neighbors would join us in fighting for liberty!

Or...not.

As it turned out, we had far less pull with our neighbors than we imagined...here's a picture of our only attendee at our first cottage meeting.  We wondered if perhaps we were in the wrong line of business.

Undaunted, we began making our presentation to anyone who would allow us. Four years

later, almost 1500 people have heard it.  The only credential we really have is that we

love our country and believe correct principles, when followed, help men to govern

themselves and produce peace, prosperity, and freedom in any society.

Liberty Principles Presentations

This one-time presentation gives an overview of the principles embedded within the Constitution – the Founders’ “success formula” based on their thorough study and knowledge of history, past civilizations, and especially human nature. Learn the principles behind what George Washington called the “science of government” – which, when applied, yields results that can be predicted and replicated. Watching the news can leave us feeling helpless and hopeless, as it focuses on the problems created from departing from these principles. Studying unchanging principles of liberty will leave you feeling empowered, joyful, and hopeful!

This 4-week course covers all the 28 principles outlined in 5000 Year Leap, Cleon Skousen’s book which explores the writings of the great thinkers read by the Founders – thinkers who shaped the ideas of the Founders, and give a clear roadmap to the intent behind the Constitution. No one need ever think the Constitution is unclear, irrelevant or outdated. Skousen studied over 100 volumes of the Founders’ writings to write this book that serves as an excellent primer course for understanding the principles behind the American experiment of self-governance.
